Privacy policy

The short version

PromptBehind has no user accounts. You can browse, copy prompts and use the Image → Prompt and Recreate tools without giving us anything. We do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

What we store

• Usage counts. When a prompt is viewed, copied or shared we increment a counter and store a one-way hash of your IP address plus the browser you used. The hash lets us count unique visitors and stop abuse; it cannot be reversed into your IP.
• Search queries. The words typed into search are stored without any identifier, so we can see which prompts people cannot find.
• Images you upload to the Image → Prompt tool (the picture you want described) or the Recreate tool (the reference picture and your photo) are sent to the AI provider that analyses or generates the result, held in memory for the length of the request, and never written to our database or storage. The generated picture is returned to your browser only.

What we do not store

No accounts, no passwords, no raw IP addresses, no cross-site tracking cookies, no fingerprinting. The only browser storage we use is a theme preference — it stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Third parties

• AI providers (for writing, classifying and rendering prompts, and for the Image → Prompt and Recreate tools) receive prompt text and, where applicable, the images you uploaded.
• Hosting and database providers process requests and store the prompt library.

Advertising. When advertising is shown on this site it is served by Google, as a third-party vendor using cookies. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising or measurement cookie is set, and may withdraw it at any time. Where no consent is given, only non-personalised ads are served. Google's own handling of this data is described in its privacy & terms for partner sites.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to us via the contact page. Because there are no accounts and we send no email, most visitors leave nothing behind that identifies them.

Children

PromptBehind is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
