Privacy policy

The short version

PromptBehind has no user accounts. You can browse, copy prompts and use the Image → Prompt tool without giving us anything. We do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

What we store

• Usage counts. When a prompt is viewed, copied or shared we increment a counter and store a one-way hash of your IP address plus the browser you used. The hash lets us count unique visitors and stop abuse; it cannot be reversed into your IP.
• Search queries. The words typed into search are stored without any identifier, so we can see which prompts people cannot find.
• Email address — only if you subscribe to the daily digest. It is used for that email and nothing else, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Images you upload to the Image → Prompt tool are sent to the AI provider that analyses them, held in memory for the length of the request, and never written to our database or storage.

What we do not store

No accounts, no passwords, no raw IP addresses, no cross-site tracking cookies, no fingerprinting. The only browser storage we use is a theme preference — it stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Third parties

• AI providers (for writing, classifying and rendering prompts, and for the Image → Prompt tool) receive prompt text and, where applicable, the image you uploaded.
• Hosting and database providers process requests and store the prompt library.
• Email delivery for the digest, if you subscribe.

If advertising is added to this site in future, this page will name the ad provider and describe its cookies before any ad is served.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from the digest with the link in any email. To ask what we hold about an email address, or to have it deleted, write to us via the contact page. Because there are no accounts, most visitors leave nothing behind that identifies them.

Children

PromptBehind is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
